Sunday Antonisen To All Instructors

Teacher

Sunday has lived in Georgia most of her life. She’s a Registered Nurse, most recently at the Scottish Rite Pediatric ICU, who left the hospital behind in 2010 to homeschool her now 13 and 16 year old kids. From 2018-2020, Sunday coordinated the homeschool activities at the Monroe Public Library and taught many of the classes.

Sunday has been growing food in Georgia for over 40 years. In 2017, she and her husband Mikkel, along with their two kids, started a regenerative small family farm. From then until now the farm has provided organically grown fruit, veggies, eggs, and honey, as well as jams, fruit rolls, teas, and other value-added products to their community, both from the farm, as well as at several farmers markets. In 2021, their farm won the Walton County Conservationist of the Year award, for their work in sustainable, regenerative agriculture.

She has always loved being outside, baking, and writing and storytelling.  Most recently, she has channeled her writing into blog posts for her farm’s website, developing a large base of information about farming and homesteading.
